ANAF’s e-Transport mobile app lets the user register a transport session for the RO e-Transport system. According to the ANAF user guide, the app is available on Google Play and the App Store.

How does enrolment work?

  • On the “Enrolment” page, the user enters the company name, the unique identification code (CUI), the phone number and, optionally, an e-mail address; these are validated and the user taps “Continue”.

  • The user receives by SMS a numeric code to confirm the enrolment and enters it in the app; a “Resend code” option exists, with limits to prevent abuse.

  • After enrolment, the account details can be viewed, and the user can log out, in the User profile screen.

How is a transport session started?

On the “Home” page, a session is registered either by scanning the QR code or by entering the information manually. The information depends on the type of transport:

  • Transport with a UIT code: the registration number of the vehicle and, where applicable, of the trailers, and the UIT code; scanning the QR code returns the registration number and the UIT code.

  • EU (intra-Community) transit: the registration numbers of the vehicle and trailers, the EU country of destination and additional details.

  • Non-EU (customs) transit: the registration numbers of the vehicle and trailers, the country of destination and additional details.

The mandatory fields are the vehicle registration number and, as the case may be, the UIT code or the country of destination. After “Start transport”, the RO e-Transport system validates the session; an error or alert is shown if the registration number does not match the UIT code, the UIT code has expired or the transport is in the future.

Where can I find help?

ANAF publishes the user guide for the e-Transport app and gives the phone number 031.403.91.60 for questions about the e-Transport system.
